How is our phone number historic?
Beginning in 1912 when telephones were hand cranked, Vapor Cleaners has always had the number 46 as a telephone number. From 1913 when telephone numbers were only 2 digits, into the 1930s and finally today with much longer numbers it’s always been 46 – only now it’s two 46’s.
